Rare species of limestone flora grow in its surroundings - bare primrose, Clusiov gentian, common Slovak nickel beetle or early clove. At the top of the rock there are pine and beech stands.
Under the rock there is a shelter where you can relax or hide, in case of bad weather. There is also a fireplace for toasting delicious bacon or other delicacies. The nearby spring of clear water will certainly come in handy, especially during summer days.
The hike to Krkava Rock is undemanding and suitable for even the smallest hikers. Access to the rock is possible via a technical road between Ružomberok and Vlkolínec. This leads from the Gejdák guest house to the church in Vlkolínec. The rock is visible directly from the road and it is necessary to ascend about 50 m from the wooden resting place by the road. There is also a marked cycle route from Ružomberok to Vlkolínec.
