For the first time, a soccer ball appeared in Majcich in 1928. This "devil's ball" was brought here during the summer holidays by student Eugen Weil, the brother of a local doctor. With the devil's ball, several enthusiasts immediately started training on the "aluminium" under the shore. Thus, in the summer months of 1928, football began to be played in Majcichovo. Local enthusiasts founded a football club called ŠK Majcichov. In 1930, they leased two Hungarian farms of the Christian Garden from the miller Jozef Strišš, where the soccer field is still located today.
