The museum is located in the premises of the track of the first Bratislava steam engine railway station from the 19th century and the adjacent warehouses. Road transport is presented by a collection of vehicles from the first means of transport with and without an engine through bicycles, cars and trucks of the interwar period to vehicles from the 60s and 70s of the 20th century. The visitor will be interested in prototypes developed by Slovak car manufacturers after the Second World War and military vehicles.

On the track you can see a selection of steam, motor and electric locomotives, freight wagons and special rail vehicles of the Slovak railways. One of the exhibition halls of the museum is reserved for the exposition of railway signaling, security and communication technology, equipment for track maintenance, uniforms and other objects from the history of railway transport in Slovakia.
