Many cultural events are organized in our village every year, such as the Christmas concert of the Bajerov Elementary School, the program for Mother's Day, and students also regularly rehearse the program for October - the Month of Respect for the Elderly. They are also willing to please seniors with their artistic abilities at the Institute of Social Services in Cemjate and the physically handicapped at the Institute of Social Services on Volgogradská Street in Prešov.
Our hearts were won by the Gumanov siblings - Stanka, Dávid and Paľko with their family dulcimer music. The folklore group PUKAVICA is an integral part of every cultural event and a group of young enthusiasts founded the folklore ensemble Bajerovčan in the village. Bajerovské orolské slavnosti are regularly held here under the leadership of the Slovak Eagle Local Club and the village, which has a long tradition in our country.
But not only culture but also sport is no stranger to Bajerans. Sports events are regularly organized in which the surrounding villages are often involved. Traditionally, these are football or hockey tournaments of "married" versus "singles", table tennis tournaments, children's sports afternoons, which is part of the Eagle Festival and sports events for children's day and competitions on the ice rink. The Voluntary Fire Brigade, which, on behalf of men, annually participates in firefighting competitions and represents the Bajers, has also operated for many years.
Our village is still making progress in development and I believe that all Bajerians will always be happy to return to their birthplace and continue the established traditions.
